Motul Engine Flush is a pre-oil-change cleaning additive designed to remove accumulated deposits, varnish, sludge and combustion residues from the engine's lubrication system.

Added to the existing engine oil before an oil change, the formula helps loosen and suspend contaminants so they can be evacuated when the old oil is drained. Motul states that the product also provides lubrication during the cleaning process, helping reduce wear while the engine is being cleaned.

Regular use can help the fresh oil work more effectively by reducing contamination left behind in the lubrication system. Motul also lists benefits including reduced wear, reduced oil and fuel consumption, more even compression and reduced exhaust pollutants.

How to Use

Add one 300ml can to the hot, used engine oil before draining. Allow the engine to idle for approximately 15 minutes without driving the vehicle. Drain the oil and replace the oil filter as part of the normal oil service. Motul specifies one 300ml can for oil capacities up to 5–7 litres, with additional product required for larger capacities depending on the current product specification.
